On 15 March 2014, DIAL-AN-ANGEL® will celebrate 47 years of providing angelic in home services to Australian families, Government and businesses.
DIAL-AN-ANGEL has come a long way from its humble beginnings as a one woman operation on Sydney's North Shore. Today, DIAL-AN-ANGEL has nine offices around Australia and has proven itself as Australia's leading home and family care agency through its client centric philosophy and continually reaching fantastic milestones such as this one.
The client-focused philosophy is what has set DIAL-AN-ANGEL apart over the past 47 years. The Agency has developed their own Care8® model of assessing, quoting, personalising, collaboratively reviewing and evaluating services for care recipients. This system is implemented by DIAL-AN-ANGEL's skilled care workforce, with all care Angels® trained to identify and present suggestions for continuous improvements to the care recipient's individual program.
In addition to the sophisticated Care8 model, DIAL-AN-ANGEL also aims to provide more flexible childcare to working families and is at the forefront of the conversation sparked by the national Productivity Commission Inquiry into Childcare. In her capacity as CEO of DIAL-AN-ANGEL, Danielle Robertson provided a submission to the Inquiry, calling for childcare rebates to be extended to in home childcare provided by qualified nannies. "There is a misconception that nannies are just for the rich but in this day and age we have clients from all different socio-economic areas needing assistance on a casual or part time basis. They require assistance to enable them to return to work, become engaged and productive which in turn aids the economy," said Danielle.
Many organisations held a similar viewpoint in their own submissions to the Productivity Commission Inquiry. Danielle continues, "The working day is no longer 9 - 5 and with many people working longer hours and shifts, parents want flexibility and availability of childcare where they need it when they need it. There are long wait lists for centre based and family day care. If the rebate can be opened up to experienced and professional nannies, it gives families an additional choice."
Over the past 47 years, DIAL-AN-ANGEL has committed itself to providing the highest quality service available.
